Communicate with confidence about climate
Talking the talk on the climate and nature crisis has never been more important.
However, many in the Media and Entertainment industry feel stuck between the fear of greenwashing and their duty to report on the biggest challenge of our lifetime.
We support large Media and Entertainment groups to upskill their teams on how to communicate about the climate and nature crisis - and how to focus on the solutions it requires.
We broaden the emissions tunnel-vision and give your team a systemic understanding of the climate and nature crisis - giving them the tools to meaningfully communicate on these issues and their genuine solutions.
We tailor each programme to your needs: linking to your content and specific areas of your business - while mixing in the latest news and featuring your company's own talent, sustainability strategy and initiatives.
Context
BAFTA albert is the screen industry’s organisation for sustainability, driving collaboration, continuous improvement and impact since 2010. With this goal in mind, they wanted to bring sustainability training to life for their company members and other professionals across the industry . They wanted to bring people together, to get them buzzing, and to help them feel empowered, rather than trained.
How we helped
We delivered a tailored Masterclass that brought together over 1,000 film and TV professionals - from screenwriters, producers and directors, to camera people, photographers and electricians - empowered them with a foundational understanding of key climate concepts, and provided inspiration to take their learnings into their own organisations and roles. With stellar reviews, an 87% attendance retention rate of the session and a whopping 44% engagement rate, the session was a clear hit in creating the momentum that we'd set out to achieve.
The Jumpstart Masterclass offered an engaging and comprehensive introduction to climate essentials that made you stop and think. The BAFTA albert team are thrilled that over 1000 colleagues from across the Film and TV industry were able to learn more about climate change, and how we have the power to make a positive difference.

Fascinating stats making the need to act that much more urgent. Great visuals (e.g. tipping point) - really accessible. And super engaging presenters - so much energy
Anecdotes and examples helped make the science a lot more understandable, and will certainly help when I am sharing this knowledge with other people. Some new information and angles on the climate crisis which I had not considered before (soil!)
Using our robust data collection system, we are able to capture the behavioural changes of our attendees
